Microwave Door Left Open

I left the door open on my microwave for a few hours and now when i close the door the inside fan and light will not shut off it s not heating.

The tradition stuck around even with countertop and over the range models. It makes it a little difficult to open the left hinged door. Is there a reset. Nothing except that the light will be on in your microwave oven.

It will not mold because there is an air gap of 1 4 between the door and the frame.
